Post Secondary Program - Organization
The Post-Secondary Student Program is a summer employment program funded by the Government of Prince Edward Island and administered by SkillsPEI. The Program is designed to create jobs for post-secondary students by providing a financial incentive to Island employers who provide students with summer employment in their field of study.
Eligibility Information
Eligible employers can include private, non-profit and public sector employers operating in Prince Edward Island.
Amount of Assistance
SkillsPEI will reimburse to private sector employers between $4.75 and $5.25 per hour paid to approved positions for up to 40 hours per week. Non-profit and public sector employers will be reimbursed between $9.50 and $10.50 per hour paid to approved positions for up to 40 hours per week. Positions can be funded for 8 to 14 weeks.

How Do I Apply?
Organizations seeking assistance under the Post Secondary Student program must complete the application form found below submit it to a local SkillsPEI office. The closing date for applications is April 9, 2010.
