Post Secondary Program - Student

The Post-Secondary Student Program is a summer employment program funded by the Government of Prince Edward Island and administered by SkillsPEI. The Program is designed to provide Island post-secondary students with meaningful work experiences related to their field of study.

Eligibility Information
To be eligible for participation, you must:

- have graduated from Grade 12; and/or
- have attended a post-secondary institution full-time in the current year and intend to return to full-time studies in the Fall of the current year;
- be a resident of Prince Edward Island and legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizen or permanent resident); and
- must not be a member of the employer's immediate family, which includes members of the immediate family of the employer or a member of the immediate family of an officer, director or management personnel of the employer's firm. Immediate family is defined as father, mother, son, daughter, husband, wife, brother or sister.

How Do I Apply?
Individuals seeking assistance under the Post Secondary Student program must complete the application form found below submit it to a local SkillsPEI office.
